Discipleship happens best when we share the journey of transformation with a community of people who are also on a journey of transformation. MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES is the place where this happens.
Not small groups, not Bible studies, not book clubs, MC's are defined as:
MC's are small to mid-sized groups of disciples who share life together [like an extended family] in order to encourage one another in following Jesus and work together to be a blessing to our community.
or in simpler terms:
Share Life | Grow in Faith | Go on Mission
MC's are where you'll plug into the life-blood of Sanctuary and the place to start to get plugged in. Beyond a time to gather, they are ongoing relationships that contribute to discipleship and they are the primary place where Sanctuary engages in the broader community to help, care, love and impact our world with generosity and compassion.
Chances are, if you're interested in find out more about Sanctuary, that desire has been sparked by a relationship with a follower of Jesus at Sanctuary who is actively living in relationship with other Jesus followers in a Missional Community. That would be a wonderful place to start your journey - or, if necessary, we can help you plug into another MC - check out the page for each one to get a feel for how they uniquely Share, Grow and Go.
